I’m Laurian. Animals have been my constant, growing up in West London alongside dogs, cats, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs and fish. At one point, I’m pretty sure we had 37 of them. Total chaos, the best kind, fuelled by a love of design inherited from my mum’s endless stack of House & Garden magazines.

Fast forward to more domesticated days, I adopted Farah, a wildcard rescue with energy to spare. I went searching for pet essentials: beds, bowls, leads, crates, treat bags. But everything out there felt wrong. Plasticky, flimsy, too cutesy. Nothing fit my home or the way I wanted to live with my dog.

So I decided to build something Fauna exists for people who have strong opinions about design - and refuse to abandon them the moment they walk into a pet shop. Everything we stock has earned its place: made to last, designed to live in a real home, chosen because we’d genuinely buy it for Farah.

We curate independent brands where craft and considered design come first. And we’re quietly building our own - products that didn’t exist yet, because they should.

Your dog lives your life with you. Their things should look like it.
